We're Married!

So, March 19th has come and gone, and I'm now a Mrs.! Today was my first day back to school, and the kids had fun calling me by my new name and asking 10,000,000 questions about the wedding...We had such a fun time! I can't wait to get our professional pics back, but, I will give you a peek at some that a family friend took so you can get an idea of the day!!!

The New "Siblings" - Tate's sister Channing, my sister Kate, and then Tate's brothers Gatlin and Bronson

We had our ceremony inside because of the unpredictability of the weather in the SF Bay Area this time of year -- fortunately we made that call, because it was rainy all day on Saturday...it was nice though that the fog lifted right before the ceremony so you could see the SF skyline in the windows behind us...not so hot on the aisle runner though -- ick!

The guys in their groomsmen gifts -- Rayban Aviators...they were a fun gift, and the guys definitely used them at every opportunity!!! ...Including during the Wedding March, and when they were slightly intoxicated later in the evening.

Our gorgeous cake -- ah, I loved it...simply perfection. The layers were lemon chiffon, and then chocolate with chocolate mousse and raspberry. So yummy! I designed it myself, and I think it turned out so much better than I could have imagined!

Candy favors -- Several different candy choices, and sweet little mini take-out boxes with stickers that said "Love Sweet Love - Amy and Tate 3.19.2011"

Place card table -- the place cards were lined up in front of San Francisco post cards that I bought at Paper Source and corresponded to the name of the table instead of a number...ex. Palace of Fine Arts, Golden Gate Bridge, Conservatory of Flowers, Alcatraz, etc.

Table names printed in one of our invitation fonts on gold circles from Paper Source

One of our tall arrangements and the table settings -- this picture was taken prior to the reception, so the wall behind the chairs was gone during the reception, and opened up into a room with our bar, and several high top tables for people to hang out around

One of the low arrangements

Strings players during cocktail reception -- they played traditional songs during the wedding, and then during the reception played more contemporary songs like Viva la Vida, Clocks, Bittersweet Symphony, All You Need Is Love, among others. We had a DJ for the actual dinner/dancing reception

My uncle Bill, and my dad got my 95 year old Grandma up to dance -- love her! We had so much fun!!!!

Us - with my maid of honor, Kate, and Tate's best man, Gatlin

It was such a fun day! Can't wait til this summer when we can take a Honeymoon!!!
